It was Magic.

-I drew the pieces (free handed) on parchment paper.
-Pined the parchment pieces to the desired fabric
-Cut pieces out and started hand sewing the fabric pieces together. (takes about two weeks)
-After I sewed the base and glued in the eyes (under the mask)
-Pinned white fabric to the body for the apron (without drawing the pieces on parchment before hand.)
Mask
-Molded mask shape out of Aluminum foil.
-Paper masque computer paper on top of aluminum mask (5 or 6 layers)
-Painted mask with red paint then water colored details on top
Coloration of Apron
-Watercolored the fabric with yellow, brown and red.
Tag
-Used bristol paper and hand inked letters.

Everything was free handed- I used no patterns online.

I hope that was in detail enough! If you have any more questions ask! AND THANK YOU!!!!

This is the second doll I've ever made. Sewing is just a hobby I do once in a while so I don't have alot of toys hanging around. Usually, I just give them away to the artist of the character as a gift. This guy is the only one I kept.

I don't have any path of doing the dolls. I sort of figure it all out as I go and hope it works out for me. I guess I usually start of with the Head first and do the arms last.

With the mask I molded a flat rectangle with foil and paper masque teared computer paper ontop with elmers glue and water. then after I got the shape I wanted with the eyes and mouth I painted the whole mask with red paint and then slowly did the paper with water colors. That's it really. To sew the mask on I glued it in place with fabric glue. Then I sewed the mask on using the tiny holes I punched out of the mask at the top.

for some reason that sounded really creepy, especially the smile *smiles* i think i just read it in a creepy way cause of the face. o3o'
anyway i dont like her to get me things above 10$. i like cheap gifts, it makes a challenge to find something cheap and personal. kathy is REALLY good at giving gifts. she seems to always know what exactly to get without making the person feel spoiled like she got an expensive gift sorta, you know what i mean i think. not sure.
